The Writer Within

Passionate

Why do I write, why?

The feelings inside me

consume and define.

The words sometimes are

loving, hateful, sorrowful

but release me free.

When I'm moved by some-

thing powerful I can't not

say what's on my mind.

Instead, I let the

letters come together and

form a new free space.

Writing is heaven

to me it's like flying a plane

It's freeing and sane.

Why do I write, why?

Where passion and earth collide

and create sweetness.
