Professional
info
While writing is my "main" passion, I enjoy putting my creativity to use in other endeavors as well. Photography, for example. Wherever in the world, I go, so does my camera. From my hometown in Connecticut to Switzerland, I have found the landscape, architecture, and people to be amazing subjects.
All in all, there isn't just one side to me, rather I am a little bit of everything. I'm a writer, photographer, foodie, and designer, just to name a few. I've published articles, creative works and have had the opportunity to present in front of Writing professors at Ithaca College as well as colleges in other states at a conference in Georgia. I hope to be given more opportunities to make my world bigger and grow in my career.

Education
Ithaca College
2009 - 2013
I choose Ithaca College for its phenomenal writing program as well as its Deaf Studies minor. I took classes in almost all fields of writing including professional, creative, non-fiction and playwriting. Junior year, I realized I was interested in computer science and communications. By this time it was too late to declare them as minors so instead, I took a few classes and learned some skills through my friends in those majors. There are many roads I can take with my writing degree, which both excites and frightens me. At the same time, I'm open to new possibilities and can't wait to make an impact with my passion.
Gallaudet University
Spring 2012
For one semester, I decided to be a visiting student at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC because I wanted to use my American Sign Language skills on a regular basis as well as continue learning. For the first month, I had headaches every night, but I didn't quit because I knew this would be a great experience for me. I developed many friendships through my time there and I wish so much I could have stayed, but I needed to go back to Ithaca to finish my writing degree before pursuing my interests in Deaf Studies and Special Education. Someday, I might go back and get a Masters in Deaf Education. Writing is my first love and Deaf Studies is my second. Though, I would love to find an opportunity where I can use both.
